Craig S. Daste, Jr. is a Board Certified Estate Planning & Administration Specialist and has been with the firm since 2011. Craig practices primarily in the area of multigenerational estate and wealth conservation planning for high net worth families and individuals, advising clients on the preparation of wills, donations, trusts and matrimonial agreements, and represents clients in succession administration, probate and succession disputes. Craig specializes in complex wills and testaments as well as federal estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax issues. Craig also assists clients with commercial negotiation and business planning including the formation, reorganization, sale and inter-vivos donation of closely-held businesses.

Craig graduated from Jesuit High School summa cum laude in 2005 and received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 2008. After practicing as a Tax Accountant in 2009, he received his Juris Doctor from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2012, where he received several CALI awards for the highest overall grade in a class, including State & Local Taxation, Matrimonial Regimes, and Successions & Donations. Craig has been a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association since 2012 and was certified as an Estate Planning & Administration Specialist by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization in 2019.
