Bonnie
M. Wyllie, Esq.
Bonnie M. Wyllie has over thirty years of experience in tax.
Before joining Lukinovich APLC, she worked as a Director with the regional
firm, LaPorte CPAs and Business Advisors. Her prior experience also included
working with a national accounting firm. She has extensive experience in all
aspects of nonprofit, individual, estate, trust, and tax compliance. She
specializes in nonprofit tax consulting and compliance as well as charitable
gift planning. She works with nonprofit organizations and boards to address
issues such as joint ventures, UPMIFA, mergers, executive compensation,
intermediate sanctions, unrelated business income, IRS audits, and foreign
tax compliance, to name a few. She is a frequent lecturer and provides
individualized training to boards and nonprofits. Her commitment to
nonprofits does not end at work, but extends to her active involvement in
the community.
Bonnie received her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Music from Loyola
University, her Juris Doctor from Loyola University, and her LL.M. degree in
taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. She has been certified by
BoardSource to be one of their governance trainers, and she earned the AICPA
Nonprofit Certificate as well as a nonprofit management certificate. In
March 2009, she published an article in the Journal of Accountancy, “The
Redesigned Form 990, Advising Nonprofit Organizations.” She was the
recipient of the Order of St. Louis medallion in recognition of her service
in the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
