Daniel BruniDaniel H. Bruni

Daniel H. Bruni’s area of practice focuses on where estate planning and business planning often intersect. Daniel advises individuals and families on the preservation and transfer of wealth through the implementation of estate planning strategies, using wills, trusts, donations, life insurance, foundations, charitable giving and other tax-efficient structures that utilize estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax exemption amounts.

An essential part of Daniel’s practice includes representing and advising executors, legatees and heirs, as well as trustees and beneficiaries, in succession (probate) proceedings and the administration of trusts and estates.

Additionally, a significant portion of Daniel’s practice consists of advising business owners during each phase of the business lifecycle—e.g., choice-of-entity and formation; mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations; purchases and sales of business interests; and other advanced exit-planning strategies for businesses.

Prior to joining Lukinovich, APLC, Daniel worked as an international tax associate with KPMG (Switzerland) and practiced law in Montana as a tax and estate planning associate. Daniel received his Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University (2002), his J.D. from Loyola University, New Orleans (2008) and an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida (2013).

Daniel currently serves on the boards of the Salvation Army of Greater New Orleans and Global Maritime Ministries.
